A collection of photographs from my recent travels to "Little Lhasa"
Dharamshala, a quaint town at the foot of the Himalayas in Northern India is home to Tibetans since 1959 and His Holiness, Dalai Lama, the 14th reincarnation.
Every month thousands of Tibetans seek refugee after a perilous 40-day trek across the Himalayas to India. They are helped to rebuild their lives in India with the help of various organizations, monasteries and nunneries.
The community of Tibetans in exile practices the principals of non-violence, tolerance, interdependence, compassion and respect for all. Quietly committed to peacefully resolving their conflict with the Chinese government and return to a free Tibet.
